How to order

In addition to the regular offers that we send to members, we keep a stock of some 80 wines at our extensive cellars at 23 Stonegate. Members are free to order any of the wines from this list, subject to availability, at any time of the year.

HOW TO ORDER WINE

You can email, fax or phone your order at any time, but please follow this up with a letter, enclosing a cheque. Sadly, we do not have the time to issue bills.

On most occasions it will possible to process your order so that it is ready for collection by the following Sunday afternoon.

Access by car is possible before 10.30 a.m. each day, and most members find it convenient to drive up to the door, where they can load up their wine within a few minutes.

Alternatively, after 4.30 p.m., access by car into Little Stonegate is possible, and the wine can be wheeled round the corner to the car.

Your Medical Society key will let you into the building, and the wine will at the foot of the cellar stairs, with your name on the box.

However, the door to the oak room must be locked on leaving the cellars, as this sets the burglar alarm for all the rooms.

Please collect your wine promptly, as we cannot be held responsible for missing cases months after the wine has been put out.

We appreciate that the steps down to the cellar are rather steep. So, we are happy to make special arrangements for collection of the wine for any members who find it difficult to negotiate the descent safely.

Please feel free to ring for advice on any specific queries, wedding receptions, special parties etc., as we can often obtain discount from our suppliers, for larger orders.
